Leonardo Da Vinci and Vesalius – among many others – are there to show that the union of science and art is not a new. Art is about the way we perceive the world and science as revolutionnize that perception. It can be expected then that they would work hand in hand in the modern world. Sciart is a fusion of science AND art, not in a NASA-style “artist rendering”, but in a symbiosis where science become the medium as well as the object of the artist. The internet has great examples of this; here his a few.
